Rahab's bracelet

     Hemp rope, red rope, or any material for making bracelets.

Help the children make bracelets. Talk about how the red rope was used to lower the spies to safety, then led Rahab and her family to safety. Show how the bracelets can be a daily reminder of how God wants to keep us safe.

 

Mustard seed 

     Mustard seeds, construction or card stock paper, glue

Have the children spell out the word FAITH and glue it to the paper, remind the children about the story of the mustard seed.

 

Human Silhouette

Large sheet of butcher paper or large cardboard

 

Have volunteers draw the silhouette of each child on the paper or board, let the children color their clothes and add in the scenery.

 

 

Light the way

     Disposable clear plastic cups, hole punch, tea light, pipe cleaners.

 

Punch two holes on the top of each cup to allow the pipe cleaner to go through and function as a handle. Allow the children to decorate their cups, place the tea light in the base of the cup. Talk about the lesson of the ten bridesmaids.
