Donut Plunger Game

                2 plungers

                Donuts

Divide the children into two groups. The goal is to eat the donut faster than your opponent without your donut falling.

Blind Man Hunt

              Two blindfolds

               rocks or any other objects

Divide into two teams, have each team designate a caller. Blindfold two children. Place objects on the ground and have the caller instruct the blindfolded teammate to the objects.

 Fast Change

Two sets of oversized clothes, shoes, hats, sunglasses, boas,                  dresses, etc.

Separate into two teams, have one child at a time race to a stack of clothes, place them over their clothes, then run back to the next person in line. They then undress and give the next child the clothes to put on. If you have enough clothes, allow each team to have a separate stack and get dressed, the first team to get dressed wins. Hint: Keep the clothes in a basket or box to be used for future games.

 Circle of Friends:

            Festive Music

Choose one person to be ‘it’. Place the children in a circle, if you are in a gym use the center of the court. Make sure there is an uneven number of kids to play, having ‘it’ sit out every other turn. When the music plays the children will go around in the circle, when the music stops each child must find a friend. Encourage the children to select a new friend each time. The child without a friend when the music stops must sit out. The last child standing with ‘it’, wins.

 HIDDEN TREASURE HUNT

Easter eggs with pearls in some of the eggs.

You can play this game in either a sandbox or out in the open, hiding the eggs before the children arrive. Divide the children into two teams, on 'go', have one child from each team race and get an egg and take it back to their group. Once all the eggs have arrived have a volunteer help the children find the pearls, allow the children to trade in their pearls for candy or something from a treasure box.
